Where I am now compared to where I was 10 or 15 years ago is astonishing. I came from absolutely nothing too everything one could hope for which is having meaning, peace and purpose in their life. After what some people would call a series of unfortunate events, I was at my lowest point in my life… Then in 2017 I met my soulmate. She was the other side to my coin, the Ying to my Yang… The cheese to my Cheeto… she introduced me to the world of Crystal and Mineral collecting!

Fast forward two years to 2019… Upon doing research, while living in Toledo, OH, we discovered that Toledo had its own Gem and Mineral club! To our surprise it was only a short distance from where we were at and that started a whole new path for me and the opportunities that came with it. Gem club’s have many resources that one may not have known about or how to use. Meeting like minded, great people, that share in your passion all the while encourage you to keep at it, was a blessing. I then learned how to create whats called “Cabochons”. Which are polished stones in different shapes and sizes. Then wire wrapping…. I was so in love with this process and all that it entailed, I bought all my own equipment so I could do it everyday! Once I had a whole bunch of cut stones, I wanted to make jewelry with them! I have seen so many beautiful pieces of jewelry with cabochons I just had to do it!

So I then invested in silversmithing equipment….
